Prairie Fire Children's Theatre presents "Cinderella" (Ages 7 )
Audition for the roles of Cinderella,the Stepsisters, the Pumpkins, the Macho Mice, the Cool Cats and Chicks, Dinah the Cat, Mikey and his band “The Mistakes”, King Cash the Promoter, and his Assistants. Two professional actors will play the roles of the Stepmother and the Father, and will also direct the production.
The play features a great deal of dancing, singing and lip syncing. No advance preparation or experience is necessary. Auditions are open to age seven and older. The audition session will last two hours and all auditioners are required to be in attendance the full time. Everyone who auditions will be accepted into the cast! The cast will be announced at the end of the two hour audition and each cast member will receive a rehearsal schedule for the remainder of the week
Auditions take place on Monday, December 8th from 3:30-5:30pm. A portion of the cast will be required to rehearse after auditions until approximately 7:45pm. The rehearsal schedule will vary throughout the week, each person will take a schedule home on Monday outlining the rest of the week for their particular role. Rehearsals will be held for 4 hours and 15 minutes for the remainder of the week broken down into two 2-hour sessions with a 15 minute break.
Performances will be Friday, December 13th at 7PM and Saturday, December 14th at 2pm - tickets for the performance are $5 per person, children under 5 will get in free. Tickets for the performances are now available on the Community Ed website under "MN WiFi Performing Arts Center".
