Exciting news: Girls on the Run is coming to K-M this fall! 

Girls on the Run is an after school program that uses the power of running to prepare 3rd - 5th grade girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Over the course of the 10-week, 20-lesson season, girls learn life-changing lessons about healthy friendships, teamwork, decision-making, self-respect and more, all while preparing to run a 5k. Open to all 3rd - 5th grade girls; no previous running experience required, and need-based financial aid is available. Register today! Our Fall 2017 season will be each Monday & Wednesday 3:30 - 5:00 from September 11 - November 16, culminating with the Girls on the Run 5k. Space is limited so register early!

Visit www.gotrtwincities.org or contact Heather Hilgart at 507-775-2336 for more information.  The cost of this program is $150 includes a t-shirt, trained staffed, excellent curriculum, race registration and round-trip bus transportation to and from the 5K race.  

This program will be held at the Kasson-Mantorville Community Education Building - Yellow Pod.

You must register for this class through the Girls on the Run website.  Please call 634-4464 if you have any questions.  

The registration price for GOTR is $150 and registration begins Aug 1st.  
 
Your program registration fee includes all lesson materials, including GOTR curriculum, activity sheets, lap counters and more, a GOTR t-shirt, a bib entry into the season-ending 5k, a finisher's medal, a GOTR water bottle, and a healthy snack at every practice.
