Beginner 2 Class - 60 Minutes
Building on the foundation established in Beginner 1, our Beginner 2 class takes gymnasts to the next level. This class progresses from the basic fundamentals, introducing the logical next steps and connections on each event. Participants will continue to strengthen their understanding of core techniques, preparing them to confidently learn more advanced skills.
General Skill List for this class:
Floor - Jumps & leaps (wolf, split, cat), handstand, cartwheel, round-off, backward roll, bridge, pivot turn
Bars - 5 second holds (tuck, pike, straddle), pull over w/ assistance, cast to hips off bars, glide swing
Beam - Toe-knee kicks to straight leg, t-scale walks, levers, jump dismounts (tuck, pike, straddle)
Vault - Under arm swing board approach, board approach to mats, straight arm blocks agains wall w/ arm circle
Trampoline - Connected jump series, donkey kicks w/ straight legs
