Children ages 3 and up are mandated in Minnesota to participate in Early Childhood Screening. This service is free of charge and is a quick and simple check of how your child is growing and developing. This screening will help determine if there are any developmental concerns with your young child and would allow for early intervention before he or she begins school. The screening will not only address concerns, but will also determine strengths and skills that your child has. The goal is to see a child soon after a child turns 3. If your child is 3 years old and has not been screened, please register today. You can sign up online by filling out the Early Childhood Screening Registration Form which must be completed to be registered. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after completion. You will receive a confirmation letter and necessary forms in the mail approximately 2 weeks before the screening date.
